NV Energy will begin accepting applications for its NV GreenEnergy Rider program on November 1.
The program gives residential and business customers the option to match their electricity use with renewable energy resources for an additional charge.
Customers can choose from two options:
Existing Renewable Resources: Available to all customers, this option allows participants to match their electricity use with renewable energy generated by existing facilities.
New Renewable Resources: Available to qualifying large commercial customers, this option supports the development of new renewable energy projects in Nevada by assigning a new renewable resource to serve the customer's electricity needs.
Enrollment for the 2027 program year opens November 1 and closes November 30.
