NV Energy is set to begin work on a new natural gas main along Peckham Lane next week as part of an infrastructure project.
Construction will begin on September 14 on Peckham between Smithridge Drive and Longley Lane. Additional work will also take place on Nutmeg Place, from Peckham Lane to the entrance of the Alpine Vista Condominiums.
Work is expected to continue through the spring of 2027.
Drivers should expect temporary delays during construction.
Peckham Lane will remain open throughout the project, with traffic maintained in both directions. However, drivers should be aware that lane configurations and traffic patterns may be adjusted periodically to safely accommodate construction activities.
No full road closures are currently anticipated.
Drivers should plan for delays, follow road signs and detours, and use caution when driving through work zones.
