The Nevada Office of Traffic Safety has released their year to date report of traffic fatalities through the month of March.

According to the report, 98 people have lost their lives on Nevada's roadways through March 31 of this year.

That is up slightly, a .03% increase from this same time last year.

Included in that number is 29 pedestrian deaths and 14 unrestrained drivers/passengers.

Officials say that the top contributing factors in deadly crashes are impairment and speeding.

Of the 98 fatal incidents, 68 happened in Clark County, and 14 of them in Washoe County.
