Reno Police say the elderly man was attempting to cross the road in a motorized scooter.
An older man was injured today after he was hit attempting to cross the street in his motorized scooter around 2 o'clock this afternoon.
The car that hit the man was travelling at a very slow rate of speed.
The driver of the car stayed on the scene of the crash and is fully cooperating with officials.
Officials say the injury may have occurred when the man fell from the chair of his scooter and hit the ground.
At this time, the extent of the pedestrian's injuries are unknown.
