A driver was hospitalized after a rollover crash in east Sparks on Tuesday afternoon.

It happened in the area of Vista Boulevard and Whitewood Drive around 3:20 p.m., according to a release from the Sparks Police Department.

An investigation shows that a single vehicle was heading north on Vista Boulevard when it left the road north of Whitewood Drive, hitting a tree and other landscaping before rolling onto its side.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle and was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver cooperated with officers, and alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash.
