A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a motorcycle in Reno Monday night.
Police say it happened after 5:45 p.m. on W. 4th Street near Summit Ridge Drive.
The pedestrian died on scene while the motorcycle rider was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say it does not appear that speeding or impairment were involved in the crash.
The pedestrian's name hasn't been released.Â
