Purple Door Preschool is closing the doors at one of its three locations in the Reno/Sparks area.
According to an email sent to families of students, Purple Door Preschool's Wingfield location is closing on August 15.
The letter from the owner, Stefanie McKnight, shares details of needed building repairs that she claims the landlord has declined to address; additionally, she says the landlord has chosen not to renew the lease on the building.
An offer is being extended to families of affected children to allow them to move over to one of the two other campuses - one near Midtown, and one near D'Andrea Parkway in Sparks - for the new school year at a discounted rate.
