Rail study for travel from Reno, Sparks out to USA Parkway

The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County is looking into using the existing Union Pacific rail system between Reno, Sparks, and the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center to get workers out to USA Parkway.

Travelers often complain about traffic out to USA Parkway. For a year, RTC Washoe has worked with other agencies on a rail study. The study includes using existing tracks to commute workers out to TRI Center.
