On Wednesday the Reno City Council unanimously approved an agreement with NDOT to install fencing along Geiger Grade as part of the city's horse protection project.

As part of the agreement, NDOT will reimburse the City for the work up to $280,000.

The City also approved an award on a contract to install the fencing that would be up to $660,000.

The fencing will be in the area north of Big Smokey Drive and Ravazza Road.
