The Reno Police Department is warning of a new text scam going around.
The scam text purports to be from the Nevada DMV or a local law enforcement agency and tells people they need to pay a delinquent toll fee, according to a post on Facebook by the RPD.
The text also threatens the assessment of a late fee if people do not click on the link to pay.
Reno Police advise people never to click any links or respond to phone calls regarding payment or fines.
