The Reno Rodeo's pre-sale tickets are now available for purchase both in-person and online, but only for locals.

Some people showed up to wait in line before the office even opened to get their tickets. This caused lines to quickly build up, making it a long wait, but some people say it was still well worth it.

Glynda Wilson, a Reno resident, says, "So an hour and a half, and because I love the Reno Rodeo, and I want good seats, and I want to go on the last day."

Nancy Anderson, also a resident, says, "We have been standing in line for two and a half hours, and we have been standing in this line because we want our choice of seats without a pole in our view, and we're getting seven seats altogether."

Locals can purchase pre-sale tickets in person or online. However, you can only buy tickets online if you bought tickets to last year's Reno Rodeo.

Fans will have to prove residency by presenting a valid driver's license or a utility bill with a picture ID.

President of the Reno Rodeo, Mark Sutton, says they have some exciting new plans for next year, "Our theme for 2026, speaking of patriotism, is 'America Loves Rodeo' because it's the 250th birthday of the United States, 2026. So, we wrapped our theme around that."

Paige Dreyer, a local, says, "We're excited. We want to get good seats because that's important, they sell out fast, and we're just excited to experience it again after last year. That was my first one, and I really had a good time."

The Reno Rodeo Association Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This pre-sale will only last until next Friday, the 24th. Starting October 27th, remaining tickets will be available to the general public.
