The second annual Reno Rumble Sled Hockey Tournament will be hitting the rink at Reno Ice next week.
The tournament will be happening Friday, March 28 through Sunday, March 30 at Reno Ice on Wedge Parkway in Reno.
The tournament is free to attend, and open to all ages.
Though spots for the clinic are already filled, the City of Reno is hosting an in-person Disabled Hockey Coaching Clinic as part of the hockey tournament weekend.
According to organizers, sled hockey was invented in Sweden in the 1960's, and follows most of the same rules as ice hockey with the exception of some of the equipment used.
