A new video from Reno Firefighters shows how busy crews were last year and where calls were most frequent.

The City of Reno Firefighters, in an online post, shared that the department responded to 57,182 calls for service in 2025, an 8.2 percent increase that averaged about 157 calls per day.

The video breaks down call volume by time and location, highlighting which days, months, and stations faced the most demand.

Fridays were the busiest day of the week, and call volume peaked during the late spring and summer months from May through August. Fire officials said this period presented the heaviest workload for crews.

Station 1, located in the busy downtown district, including Fourth Street and Valley Road, handled the highest number of calls.

Other stations across the city also saw significant activity, with crews responding to a mix of structure fires, traffic accidents, medical emergencies, and other types of calls.

The department released the video as a snapshot of the workload crews faced throughout the year, showing how demand continues to grow across Reno and the work crews put in every day.
