In celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act's (ADA) 34th anniversary, The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County will offer free rides to eligible members of the community.

The RTC's ACCESS service is a paratransit shuttle that provides door-to-door, pre-scheduled transportation for people who meet the eligibility criteria for the Americans with Disabilities Act.

“This important civil rights law works to ensure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as their peers,” said Bill Thomas, Executive Director for RTC.

“Here at RTC, we work daily to make sure our disabled community is served with kindness, empathy and efficiency across all of our transit services, and that their needs are considered in our road projects.”
