The Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar took some time this month to honor some area students for their achievements.
Secretary Aguilar recognized the Carson High School marketing and Future Business Leaders of America students for their recent launch of Entrepreneurs in Action - a student-led business magazine.
The project was put together under the guidance of Carson High teachers Angila Golik and Cody Downing, with additional support from local business leaders.
"Every strong state has a strong economy, and that economy starts with small business and entrepreneurs," Secretary Aguilar said of the new student-led project. "We have some of the youngest entrepreneurs here in the state building and developing something, and that execution is a skill we want to have with Nevadans for our future."
