Slim Chickens will open its first Reno location at 1085 Steamboat Parkway on Monday, July 28, at 10 a.m.
The restaurant is owned by Roy Perez, who has worked in the food industry for more than 30 years.
He opened Nevada’s first Slim Chickens in Sparks in June 2023 after being drawn to the brand’s “always made fresh” promise.
According to a statement, Slim Chickens Franchise Development is possibly exploring the idea of expansion in Nevada.
The new Reno location will serve fried chicken and Southern-inspired sides. It is expected to create more than 100 new jobs in the community.
