The Sparks City Council approved two construction projects on Tuesday, each one with a price tag of more than a million dollars.
The first project is the 2025 Drainage and Roadway Improvement Project on "M" Street.
The second is the Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project on McCarran Boulevard and Prater Way.
Officials say the second project will close the intersection at McCarran and Prater for six consecutive weekends, excluding holidays, with a tentative start date of June 14.
