The Sparks Police Supervisory Protective Association and Sparks Police Protective Association replaced a bike for a girl who was hit in a marked crosswalk while riding to school on Tuesday.
Charlene suffered minor injuries in the crash, but her bike was destroyed, according to a post from the Sparks Police Department on Facebook.
A replacement bike was purchased, and it was dropped off to Charlene later the same day.
The SPD shared images of Charlene with her new bike and of officers procuring it from an area Target.
