Sprouts Farmers Market is scheduled to open a new location at North Carson Crossing on Market Street and East College Parkway, with events running Friday through Sunday, Sept. 5–7.

According to the Sprouts website, the grand opening will begin with a ribbon cutting at 6:45 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 5. Doors will open at 7 a.m. each day of the event.

The first 200 customers in-store on Friday and Saturday will receive a free reusable shopping bag filled with samples, while the first 400 on Friday will also receive a free long-stem rose provided by Falcon Farms Floral.

A “Pop-up Party” will take place outside the store from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, featuring samples, the Great Scale Showdown contest, and a scavenger hunt.

In-store product tastings will be available each day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Customers can also receive 20 percent off purchases all weekend by joining Sprouts Rewards, setting the new Carson City-North Carson Crossing location as their store and scanning their Sprouts Rewards app barcode in-store, or by using promo code CITYGO20 when shopping online.

The new store is located at 3193 Market St., Suite 110, in Carson City, and is designated as Store #557.
