With the weather conditions settling down, fire agencies around the area may be looking to continue prescribed burning.
Storey County Fire Protection District is doing just that - they will be conducting prescribed burning for vegetation reduction tomorrow, January 28.
The burning will be taking place in the Virginia City area.
These fires are predicted to produce smoke that will be visible in the surrounding areas.
