Dayton High School administrators say they have been made aware of a threat against the school made by a DHS student.
According to a press release from the school, the threat was reported anonymously and has been investigated by the Lyon County Sheriff's Office.
The student involved has been detained and school operations are proceeding as normal.
Lyon County deputies will have an increased presence at the school today.
Dayton High School is encouraging families to have conversations with their students about the dangers of false threats.
