Students at Greenbrae Elementary School will get a chance this week to meet first responders and learn lifesaving messages about traffic safety.
It is happening on Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Greenbrae Elementary School in Sparks, according to a release from the Washoe County School District.
It is a part of National Crash Responder Safety Week, which runs from November 17 to November 21.
A number of local agencies will have representatives at the event, and students will have an opportunity to see the equipment and vehicles they use in their work.
