Team Whiskey, a brand centered on outdoor sports and whiskey culture, will organize the High Sierra Archery Shoot at Heavenly Lake Tahoe from May 31 through June 1.
The event will take place at the California base lodge and is designed for participants of all skill and physical ability levels.
Three archery courses will be available: the Team course, which is less physically demanding; the Whiskey course, which requires greater physical effort and features longer shooting distances; and a family-oriented course suitable for all ages.
The shoot serves as a fundraiser for Give Hope Reno, a nonprofit that assists families with children who are coping with chronic illnesses and diseases by offering emotional and financial support.
This year's event marks the sixth time the Heavenly location has hosted the shoot.
According to Team Whiskey, their High Sierra Archery Shoots are considered top-tier 3D archery events on the west coast.
The company has raised more than $50,000 for Give Hope Reno through previous events.
“Due to our own family’s experience we have found the local cancer support groups directly help families emotionally and financially,” said Founder Kevin Stang.
