Families in need will soon have a chance to do more than just laundry in Reno, where a free community event will offer washers, supplies, and connections to local support services all in one place.
Molina Healthcare of Nevada, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada, and Mr. Bubbles Laundromat are partnering to provide free laundry service for families in need while also connecting people with local resources and supports.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, May 20, from 3–6 p.m. at Mr. Bubbles Laundromat, 4751 N. Virginia Street in Reno.
Each family will be able to wash two large-capacity loads of laundry. Molina Healthcare of Nevada will also provide branded tote bags filled with laundry detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener, snacks, and water.
