Students from the University of Nevada, Reno, in partnership with Buzzed Coffee, are supporting Feeding Pets of the Homeless, a nonprofit that provides vital care to pets belonging to unhoused individuals.
The fundraising event will be held this Wednesday, November 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Buzzed Coffee.
Buzzed Coffee is located at 941 N Virginia St, Unit B.
During the event, 15% of all purchases will directly benefit Feeding Pets of the Homeless.
The students’ initiative reflects their commitment to trying to ease the struggles of unhoused individuals who have pets, recognizing the role animals play in offering companionship and comfort.
Money raised during the fundraiser will support essential supplies and emergency veterinary care for pets in need, reinforcing Feeding Pets of the Homeless’ mission to improve the lives of pets and people alike.
