Students who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2025 are eligible to attend kindergarten this coming school year - and registration is now open.
Enrollment for kindergarten is based primarily on the prospective student's age.
A few elementary schools in the Washoe County School District will be hosting Open Houses, so that parents can bring their kids and learn more about kindergarten and how to get your child registered.
The district recommends registering your eligible students as early as you can, so that the district is able to determine class sizes and distribute teachers properly.
