On Monday Washoe County Sheriff's Office staff delivered gifts to the Nevada State Veterans Home.
In a post on social media, the Sheriff's Office said it brought gifts to more than 100 veterans as part of the Adopt-a-Vet program.
In their post, the Sheriff's Office also thanked the veterans for their service and their staff, who adopted veterans and gave.
"Delivering these gifts was such an awesome experience and we’re grateful to have been present," said the post in part.
