Winnemucca fire

A water heater may be to blame for a fire at a Winnemucca home on Sunday. 

Fire crews responded to the fire in the Star City area around 3 p.m. 

Winnemucca Rural Fire District crews say the fire started in the water heater area.

Firefighters say they had to cut the roof to get to the ceiling area, where the fire had spread.

Crews say they were on scene for about 90 minutes.

No injuries were reported.Â
