The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees is meeting on Tuesday to discuss several topics including zoning recommendations and also hear an update on the 2026-2027 fiscal year budget.
Board members are also set to discuss a $1.3 million grant aimed at expanding aviation education.
The zoning recommendations involve: Roger Corbett, Libby Booth, Smithridge, and Veterans Memorial elementary schools; Vaughn Middle School; and Damonte Ranch and Wooster high schools in the 2027-28 school year.
The 2 p.m. public meeting will be held at the WCSD Administration Building at 425 E. Ninth Street in Reno.
