The City of Sparks has announced that due to excessive wildfire smoke in the area, they will be closing some of their swimming locations.
The closures are necessary for the safety of the public and its employees.
The two locations affected are Deer Park at 1700 Prater Way and The Sparks Marina swim area at 1200 East Lincoln Way, they will both be closed for the rest of the day.
