Winnemucca Police have arrested a man they say sexually assaulted a juvenile.

Authorities say after a preliminary investigation, detectives got a search warrant for the home of the suspect, Giovani Diaz.

Diaz was taken into custody and booked into the Humboldt County Detention Center on charges related to the investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing.
