The Washoe County Sheriff's Office on Parr Boulevard was put on a precautionary lockdown around 5 p.m. on Thursday due to reports of a gunshot heard nearby.
Neighbors were asked to avoid the location, as law enforcement searched the surrounding area.
No injuries were reported, and the lockdown was lifted shortly after.
