Sophie's Place is a new state-of-the-art music therapy room that opened at Renown Children's Hospital on Monday, July 15.
Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Steve Young, along with his wife Barb, started the Forever Young Foundation, which included supporting the development of Sophie's Places across the country.
The grand opening was held on Monday, and Barb and Steve Young attended, along with Jacquelyn Love, Kent and Anne Marie Barton, and Renown Health President and CEO Dr. Brian Erling.
They hope Sophie's Place will improve the lives of children by integrating the healing power of music into healthcare.Â
