Texas Republican Senate candidates Sen. John Cornyn and state Attorney General Ken Paxton are going to be scarcely visible in public on the last day of campaigning ahead of Tuesday's runoff. But their faces will be unavoidable on TV, given their heavy final round ad spend. There were no public campaign events scheduled for Cornyn or Paxton on Monday, after their yearlong quest for the GOP nomination. Instead, their fight for Tuesday’s runoff continues as it has for months via advertising that has topped $109 million between the two campaigns and groups that support them.
