Investigators are still working to determine what happened when a chaotic weekend homecoming party erupted in gunfire in a rural south Georgia city, leaving two dead and nearly three dozen others injured. Dooly County Sheriff Craig Peavy identified the two dead from the party spanning four blocks in Vienna, Georgia, as a 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old man. The director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Chris Hosey,  some of the injured have gunshot wounds but he gave no exact number. No arrests have been made and no motive has been given. Authorities say sheriff’s deputies were patrolling the party early Sunday when gunfire erupted. Victims were taken to several hospitals, some in critical condition.
