Rescuers dig through rubble and landslides after Indonesia quake kills 47

Rescue teams are searching through rubble and landslide debris, a day after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck off Flores island in eastern Indonesia. At least 47 people were killed and more than 100 were injured in the quake that triggered landslides, burying villages and damaging hundreds of buildings. More than 5,000 residents were displaced, while thousands spent the night outdoors fearing aftershocks. Authorities on Sunday began distributing food, water, blankets and medicines, but damaged roads, power outages and communication disruptions have complicated relief efforts in several remote communities across Flores.
