Jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder case must decide whether the former labor and delivery nurse is criminally responsible for killing her three children at her Massachusetts home in 2023. Both sides agree she killed her children. Clancy’s attorneys argue she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and that poor medical care exacerbated her condition. Prosecutors argue she intentionally planned the killings because she wanted to take her own life and killed her children because they “were keeping her from ending her misery.” Deliberations began Thursday, but jurors had not reached a verdict by the end of the day Friday. They will return to deliberate on Monday.
