The quakes, with magnitudes of 7.7 and 6.6, caused damage across all 10 provinces and two Indigenous territories. Officials report no deaths but note injuries and significant structural damage. The earthquakes struck Friday, leading to evacuations and more than 100 aftershocks. Most damage occurred in the central provinces. Rising sea levels prompted evacuations on Isla Caña.
