Peter Marshall, who hosted the popular game show Hollywood Squares for 16 years, died Thursday.
Marshall was also a singer, Broadway performer, and comedian before a career change to hosting the game show.
His family announced that he died at home of kidney failure at age 98.
Originally from West Virginia, Marshall hosted over 6,000 episodes of Hollywood Squares, calling it 'the easiest job I ever had.'
Survivors include his wife Laurie; children Suzanne, Jaime and Pete LaCock, a former MLB first baseman; sons-in-law David and Steve; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. His son David died in 2021 from COVID complications.
