A woman has been shot just outside the Republican Party of Virginia's offices in Richmond. The party said the shooting doesn't seem to be related to its operations. The shooting happened around 1:45 p.m. in front of the building. The chief financial officer for the Republican Party of Virginia told reporters that he and other staffers were working inside the office when shots rang out outside. He said a woman who had been speaking with people who had a booth outside the building was brought inside the office bleeding after being shot. The booth was not affiliated with the party. First responders took the woman away.
