Ukrainian officials say Russian drones drones have hit a shopping center in the city of Kryvyi Rih, killing six people and wounding scores of others. The city in central Ukraine is the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Local administrator Oleksandr Vilkul said six children were among the 91 injured in the Friday afternoon strike. Zelenskyy said it was a double tap attack, with an initial wave of drones hitting the area, followed by a second wave as rescue workers arrived. He said such attacks are "nothing less than terrorist acts.” Large-scale Russian strikes have become a regular occurrence this summer. Just over two weeks ago, a Russian attack on Kyiv and its surrounding region killed 17 people.
