Moscow has not commented. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that while his country “welcomed” the announcement, Russia was still hitting energy infrastructure in Kyiv and in the city of Kharkiv. The announcement follows Trump's criticism of Zelenskyy for attacks on Russian diesel facilities. Trump also said it was time for Ukraine to get a new president, suggesting Zelenskyy hasn't done enough to end the war. Zelenskyy said Ukraine could hold elections if Russia agreed to a 60-day ceasefire.
