U.S. stocks are swinging again as oil prices keep climbing because of uncertainty about when the war with Iran could end. The S&P 500 rose 0.5% Monday after a bumpy morning where it jumped to an initial gain of 0.9% and then quickly erased nearly all of it. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 411 points, and the Nasdaq composite rose 0.4%. Caution was still prevalent throughout financial markets. Stock indexes rose in Europe but fell sharply across some of Asia, while oil prices rose roughly 2%. Treasury yields eased in the bond market.
