An attacker wielding a sword has wounded several people at a school in Sweden, according to local officials. The suspect is in custody. The attack took place at the Brinell School in Fagersta, northwest of Stockholm. Police spokesperson Pelle Vamstad said an alarm was received early Friday afternoon, and police rushed to the scene. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson described it as a “serious incident” occurring “right after the summer break.” He expressed concern for those affected. Authorities are investigating and will review camera footage as part of the preliminary investigation.
