President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have announced a $25 million program to encourage the public to blow the whistle on suspected fraud in the federal government. The Republican president says anyone whose tip leads to a conviction or a significant federal enforcement action will be eligible to receive up to $30,000. Trump has put an aggressive  focus on eliminating waste, fraud and abuse. He created a anti-fraud task force earlier this year and put the vice president in charge of it.
