The U.S. Postal Service will be closing for a Day of Mourning to honor former President Jimmy Carter.

On Thursday, January 9, the Postal Service will suspend regular mail delivery and retail service. They will also only be offering limited package delivery that day.

Normal services including retail, delivery and collection will resume the following day, Friday, January 10.

The USPS would like to remind you that stamps are available at most grocery, pharmacy and convenience stores; and 24/7 access to most products and services is available at the USPS website.
