Nevada Air National Guard Conduct Area Flyover to Honor Frontline Workers

The 152nd Airlift Wing, Nevada Air National Guard, will hold a memorial service in honor of Colonel Michael A. Fugett. The service will include a 21-gun salute to pay respects and recognize his dedication and sacrifice.  

The public will hear gunfire at the Nevada Air National Guard base Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m.

The Nevada Air national Guard says the gunshots are fired using blanks and will not put anyone in danger.

There will also be increased C-130 flying operations in the area.
