Lyon County deputies were called to the area of Rawe Peak Drive and Sugarloaf Drive in Dayton for a report of a suspicious circumstance.
Deputies discovered that at around 3:00 p.m. a white adult male driving a light blue van approached a boy. The driver asked the boy if he wanted to take a tour of the Sutro Tunnel with him.
The boy left the area immediately and went home.
The van and driver left the area and were last seen heading towards Highway 50. The van is described as a panel van - light blue, possibly sun-damaged with no windows in the back and no license plate.
The driver was described as a bald, heavy set adult white male who was wearing a tie-dye jacket and was clean shaven.
