A man was arrested after being identified as one of the suspects in an explosion-type case on the Las Vegas Strip.

There is a suspicion of two suspects connected with the explosion, but only the one male, identified as 35-year-old John Navarro was arrested, who police allegedly think he's connected with the case.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, back on November 13, at approximately 10:36 a.m., two males arrived at the business, one on foot and one on a scooter.

One of the suspects went up to a business front with a package in hand. The suspect then placed the package in front of the door to the business and lit a fuse. 

Police say both suspects ran away to flee the area, when a few minutes later the package exploded 

On November 15, Navarro was booked into the Clark County Detention Center with the following charges.

  • Possession, Manufacture, Dispose of an Explosive Device
  • Arson, First Degree
  • Use Explosive Device to Damage/Destroy Property
  • Conspiracy to Commit Arson, First Degree
  • Carrying Concealed Weapon without Permit
  • Possession of Controlled Susbtance – Flnztrpm/GHB/Precursor
  • Possession of Stolen Vehicle
  • Own/Operate Vehicle Chop Shop

According to Police this is still an ongoing investigation.
