More than 100 new law are now in effect across Nevada.

Senate Bill 35 went into effect on Sunday.
It significantly lowers the amount of the drug needed to be considered high level trafficking.
Supporters say it gives police better abilities to keep fentanyl off the streets... and to keep Nevadans from accessing it.
Opponents argue it may create another war on drugs.
And a new law that aims to crack down on catalytic converter thefts is also now in effect.
Senate Bill 243 more clearly defines what constitutes as theft is in these situations.
It also makes it illegal to buy a used catalytic converter from somewhere other than certain licensed businesses or people.
Those found guilty can face felony charges.
Also, passed are more protections for election workers and pets.
There are bills affecting un-housed individuals as well - including waiving identification and court fees.
